How to Apply

First, the applicant must be eligible under the guidelines of the schemes.

Interest List
If you believe you are eligible according to these general rules, you can register your interest at any time. Do this by calling 1800 620 361, or sending us an email giving us giving the applicant child's name, address and postcode.

Starting from 1 August, all those on the Interest List are sent application forms and instructions on how to apply.

Do this as soon as possible so that you will get your application in time to be able to gather the necessary information, such as details of the veteran's service, your relationship to the veteran, academic results and a academic referee's report, and financial and medical information.

Applications are accepted from 18 August to 31 October. You must register interest in time to receive an application, to complete it and submit it, so as to be received by 31 October.
