It said password is not correct but I'm sure it is.  Why?

  • Were you using the same password as on your Registration Form?
    The password you chose needs to be set up on Accsoft's network in order to allow connections from you.  You should have specified your password when you opened your account with Accsoft.  Otherwise, please contact us and we can verify your password or reset it to a new one of your choice.
     
  • Are you sure you entered the user ID in lowercase?
    Your User ID (or User name) needs to be lowercase.  (e.g. "alberte", not "ALBERTE", not even "Alberte").  However, your password is case sensitive (e.g. "Mouse" is different from "mouse").  If you are sure you did not press the Shift key when you typed your User ID or Password, please check the Caps Lock indicator on your keyboard.  If it is on, please press the Caps Lock key once to turn if off, and try to connecct again.
     
  • I only see **** when I typed my password.  How do I know if it is right?
    Your password is shown as asterisks (i.e. stars) to protect your privacy so that nobody around you can look over your shoulder and know your password.  If you are not sure you have entered the correct password, press the Backspace key repetitively to remove all asterisks and enter your full password again.
     
  • I am absolutely sure I have entered the correct user ID and password.
    If everything is entered properly but you still got a password error, it might be related to accounting issues (e.g. run out of access time or access period expired).  Our network would pass the error message back to your computer but usually your computer (e.g. Windows) would not understand and reports as password error anyway.  If you think it might be the case, you can contact us or check your account online (if you can still get to the web via other services).
