There are firewalls protecting our servers (and therefore your resources and services).  We also provide labeling, blocking and filtering services so that majority of junk email and virus will stop even before being delivered to you.

Our anti-spam system detects spam (or junk email) using Spam Assassin, Blackhole Lists, Direct Address Blocking and Catchall Control.  You can change the anti-spam settings of such services to balance the needs to block junk email and the risk of missing genuine ones.

Our anti-virus system scans all incoming and outgoing email for computer virus and disinfect them if a virus is found.  For those that cannot be disinfected, we will replace it with a warning message or discard it if it is too dangerous to deliver such message.  The sender will receive the warning as well so that he or she will take appropriate action to stop spreading the virus further.
